Net Worth Calculator
Net worth from assets minus liabilities, with a simple breakdown.
Net worth
How it works
Net worth = total assets − total liabilities
Worked example: ₹5,00,000 of assets and ₹2,00,000 of liabilities give ₹5,00,000 − ₹2,00,000 = ₹3,00,000 of net worth.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as an asset?
Anything you own that has value: cash, savings, investments, property and vehicles. Use a realistic sale value, not what you paid for it.
Should I include my home?
Yes, but include the mortgage on the liabilities side too. Counting the house without its loan overstates your position badly.
Is a negative net worth a problem?
It is common early in life — student loans and a first mortgage often outweigh assets. What matters is the direction: assets growing faster than debts over time.
