How it works

UPPERCASE = every letter uppercased
lowercase = every letter lowercased
Title Case = first letter of each word uppercased
Sentence case = first letter of each sentence uppercased

Worked example: “hello world. this is whiteui.” in Title Case becomes “Hello World. This Is Whiteui.”, in Sentence case “Hello world. This is whiteui.”, in UPPERCASE “HELLO WORLD. THIS IS WHITEUI.” and in lowercase it stays as written. The text is 29 characters long in every case.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to names and acronyms in Title Case?

Every word is lowercased first, then its first letter is capitalised, so “NASA” becomes “Nasa”. Fix proper names by hand after converting.

Does Sentence case capitalise after every full stop?

Yes: the first letter of the text and the first letter after each full stop, question mark or exclamation mark is capitalised, and everything else is lowercased.

Are numbers and punctuation changed?

No. Only letters change case; digits, spaces and punctuation stay exactly where they are.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.
